Integrating your website with 1C and warehouse stock

As long as the catalogue is maintained by hand it lags behind the warehouse. A customer orders something you do not have, and the complaint lands on you.

What integration delivers

Products, prices, stock levels and attributes reach the site from the accounting system automatically, so nobody maintains two databases in parallel.

The reverse flow matters equally: orders arrive in 1C as ready documents, removing manual re-entry and mismatched totals.

Which data, how often

From 1C: catalogue, categories, price types, per-warehouse stock, attributes, images. From the site: orders, customers, payment and shipping status.

Fast-moving retail stock is typically refreshed every 10–30 minutes; catalogue and prices once a day is usually enough. True real-time exchange is needed less often than people assume and costs more.

What usually goes wrong

The main obstacle is data quality rather than technology: duplicate items, empty attributes, missing images and inconsistent units all travel straight to the customer-facing site.

Then performance — exporting tens of thousands of items can stall both systems, which batching and a nightly window solve. And missing exchange logs, without which nobody can explain why an item never arrived.
