Website support after launch: what it includes and what it costs

A website does not turn into a self-running device after launch, and the question is not whether you need support but how much of it, on what model.

What support actually includes

The base level is technical support: security updates, uptime monitoring, fixing bugs when the site stops loading. This is the minimum, without which a site grows vulnerable over time.

The second level is content support: updating copy, adding products or services, swapping photos, publishing news. The third level is development: new features that were not part of the original launch.

What it costs in 2026

Base technical support for a brochure site costs 300,000–600,000 UZS a month. A more complex catalogue costs 500,000–900,000 UZS. An online store with integrations runs 800,000 to 1,500,000 UZS a month, depending on how many small revisions the package includes.

One-off fixes without a subscription usually cost more per hour than the same work under a monthly plan — that is standard market pricing, not an attempt to upsell a subscription.

How to tell if you need a support subscription

If the site is static and unchanged for months, a standing subscription may be overkill, and paying per fix makes more sense. If the site is alive — catalogue updates, promotions, news — a subscription is almost always cheaper than ad-hoc requests.
