Product pages: what belongs there to drive purchases
A product page is the last stop before a purchase decision. Here is which elements actually work and which just take up space.
Photos decide more than copy does
At minimum four to six photos from different angles, including the product in use or at real scale. One studio shot on a white background doesn't answer 'what will this look like for me'.
For clothing and shoes, showing a size chart in centimeters is critical, not just letter sizes S/M/L, which vary widely between brands and countries of origin.
Specifications and stock status without fluff
Technical specs should be a table, not a paragraph — shoppers compare parameters quickly and don't read full descriptions.
Stock status is mandatory and must be honest: 'made to order, 5-7 days' converts better than hidden unavailability that surfaces after checkout and kills trust.
Price and payment methods on the page itself
Price must be visible immediately, no 'ask for price' click — that pattern scares off more buyers than it protects from competitors. Payment method icons belong right next to the price.
If installment payment through Payme or Click is available, show it prominently on the page — for many mid-priced items, that becomes the deciding factor.
Reviews and the order button
Reviews with real customer photos lift conversion more noticeably than text-only reviews. An empty reviews block is better hidden than shown with a 'no reviews yet' placeholder.
The order button needs to be visible without scrolling on mobile and stay sticky while scrolling — especially important since most online store traffic in Uzbekistan is mobile.
