Advertising on a small budget: what actually works

On a small budget the question is not where to advertise but what to skip. Two million spread thin produces nothing anywhere.

Start with what is free

A complete Google Business Profile with address, hours, photos and categories is a steady source of 'near me' enquiries in Tashkent and costs only your time.

Ask every satisfied customer for a Google review immediately after service, with the link in the message. A dozen fresh reviews visibly moves the listing.

Until those are done, paid ads cost more than they should: people check a company before contacting it, and an empty profile loses leads you already paid for.

One channel, one service, one audience

On 2–4M UZS a month, pick your highest-margin service and advertise only that: one campaign, one or two districts, one landing page.

A focused budget accumulates enough data to reveal a real cost per lead. The same money split across five services and three channels teaches you nothing in two months.

Expand only after the first combination is stable and profitable.

Choosing a channel and what to avoid

With existing search demand, run Google Ads on a narrow list of the hottest queries containing 'price', 'order', 'urgent' or 'near me'. Skip expensive generic terms entirely.

With latent demand — beauty, food, handmade, children's services — start on Instagram with district-level geo and simple phone-shot video. A single placement in a local district Telegram channel is a cheap third option with immediate feedback.

Do not buy a large multi-page site or a full SEO package at this stage. One good landing page with a Telegram button is enough to validate demand.
