Targeting Tashkent districts: building geo pages that actually rank

People search 'dentist Chilanzar' and 'car service Yunusabad' constantly. The problem is that nearly everyone builds identical pages for them, and Google ignores the lot.

When a district page is justified

Only two cases: you have a physical location there, or you genuinely serve that district on different terms — delivery to Sergeli takes longer and costs differently than to the centre. Without either, the page has nothing to say and both readers and algorithms notice.

Tashkent districts genuinely differ. Chilanzar is dense older housing with heavy demand for everyday services; Yunusabad mixes residential with new construction; Mirzo Ulugbek holds universities and the IT crowd; Sergeli and Yashnabad are industrial and warehousing plus new estates; Mirabad and Shaykhantakhur are the office centre. Those differences are the raw material for genuinely different pages.

Why the templated version fails

The standard template reads 'We provide services in {district}. Our specialists have worked in {district} for years.' Twenty such pages differ by one word in three places. That is a textbook doorway pattern.

The outcome is consistent: the pages either never index or index and earn zero clicks, and at scale they drag down the quality assessment of the whole site. There is no formal 'geo page penalty', but the result is indistinguishable from one.

What to put on a real geo page

Things that cannot be copied: the branch address and directions from a specific metro station, photos of that location, the people who work there, that branch's hours and phone number, an embedded map with a real pin.

Then service specifics: call-out times and pricing for that district, the areas you cover within it, cases and reviews from customers there. Three strong pages beat twelve empty ones. And if you only have one location, skip district pages entirely — invest in the contacts page, a Google Business Profile and reviews instead.
