Wix, Tilda, or custom development: what to choose in Uzbekistan
Wix and Tilda solve the same problem with different tools, and custom development solves a different problem entirely. Know what you are buying before you choose.
Wix: the strength and its price
Wix offers more visual freedom than Tilda — free element placement, a rich app marketplace, built-in e-commerce tools. For a business with an international audience it can be more convenient.
The flip side is payment and localisation: full Wix plans are tied to foreign-card billing, which is an extra barrier for many companies in Uzbekistan, and support skews English-first.
Tilda: local maturity
Years in the post-Soviet market gave Tilda local payment integrations and a large pool of specialists who already know it, making edits cheaper to source in Tashkent.
The limits are the usual builder ceiling: custom logic, deep 1C or CRM integration, and fine control over speed and SEO at scale.
Custom development: when a builder gets in the way
Custom development removes both builders' limits: any business logic, any integration, full control over speed and URL structure — at the price of a higher entry cost and edits that require a developer.
At 4 Digital, both a landing page and a multi-page site on the 'Standard' plan start from 3,499,000 UZS with an admin panel included, so the entry gap with a builder is smaller than it looks, and you own the asset outright.
Choosing without a mistake
International sales and foreign-card payments point to Wix; a local business paying in UZS with a simple site or ad landing page usually does better with Tilda.
A growing business needing internal integrations and years of organic growth will end up commissioning development anyway — builder savings just get spent later, in a hurry.
