Accepting a finished website: a client checklist
Most clients accept a site by opening the homepage on a laptop, deciding it looks good and signing. The problems appear a month later.
Start on a phone
Open the site on your own phone over mobile data, not wifi — that is how most visitors will see it. Text should read without zooming and buttons should be thumb-sized.
Watch first-load speed. If it is visibly slow on a normal connection, resolve it before signing, not as a paid task afterwards.
Test every form for real
Submit through every form on the site and confirm the alert reaches somewhere it will be seen — usually Telegram rather than a rarely opened inbox.
Check validation with an empty field, a malformed phone number and a double submission, and confirm the visitor sees a clear confirmation.
Content, technical checks and handover
Look for leftover placeholder text and check the second language version page by page — Uzbek versions are often half-empty while Russian is complete.
Confirm SSL, working analytics, unique page titles and redirects from the old site's URLs, then log into every admin panel yourself before signing.
