Online competitor analysis: what to look at
Competitor analysis is not for copying. It shows where everyone says the same thing, so you can occupy the empty space.
Who to study
Not who you consider competitors, but who the customer sees. Search your main queries the way a buyer phrases them and list the first five to seven companies.
Check the Uzbek-language results separately — often a different set of companies and noticeably less competition.
What to look at
Structure, service naming, whether prices are shown, and which objections their copy answers. Then walk the customer path: submit an enquiry and see how fast and through which channel they reply.
Outside the site, check maps listings for review freshness and replies — a strong-looking competitor with an abandoned listing is an open opportunity in local search.
Finding the gaps
Look for what nobody does: nobody shows prices, nobody has a real Uzbek version, nobody explains the process. Repeated complaints in competitor reviews are ready-made positioning.
Treat findings as hypotheses, not proven answers — you cannot see whether their site works at all, and copying imports their mistakes too.
