Furniture business website: catalogue, custom builds and made-to-measure quotes

Furniture is chosen by eye but bought on dimensions and lead times. The site has to serve both stages.

Two businesses under one sign

Stock furniture and made-to-order furniture need different sites: the first needs a shop with availability and a cart, the second sells a design and manufacturing service where a cart makes no sense.

Separate the sections and give each its own action: one-click purchase for stock, a measuring-visit request for custom.

Materials and dimensions on the product card

Give exact dimensions in centimetres, carcass and front materials, hardware brand, colour and upholstery options with sample photos, weight and warranty.

Colour mismatch between photo and reality is a recurring complaint — shoot in neutral light, show material close-ups, and say plainly that screen colour may differ. Room-set photos outperform white-background shots.

Custom work: lead time, price and assembly

Custom kitchens sell through process: free measuring visit, visualised design, approval, fixed-price contract, production, delivery, assembly.

Publish honest lead times including seasonal peaks, give prices per running or square metre by material, and state instalment options via Payme or Click. Spell out delivery zone, stair carry-up and whether assembly is chargeable.
