SEO in Tashkent: pricing, timelines and vetting an agency

SEO is the least transparent service on the market: results are delayed and the work is invisible. Here is what you actually pay for.

What monthly work consists of

Technical: fixing indexation errors, speed, structured data, broken links and duplicate pages. Most intensive in the first two to three months.

Content: keyword research and building pages around query clusters. This is the main growth driver once the technical base is sound.

Links: placements on local directories and media. Quality donors are scarce in Uzbekistan, so this moves slower than elsewhere.

Realistic market pricing

One-off technical audit: 1.5M – 4M UZS. Monthly retainers: roughly 5M to 15M UZS depending on niche competitiveness and content volume.

Offers of 'SEO for 500,000 a month' typically mean a few automated reports and a couple of purchased links.

When to expect results

First movement on long-tail queries at 2–3 months. Noticeable traffic growth at 4–6 months. Top rankings on competitive commercial queries from 8 months onward.

An agency promising top rankings in a month is either manipulating metrics or targeting queries nobody searches for.

How to verify work is happening

Request access to Google Search Console, where impressions, clicks and positions cannot be faked by the contractor.

Track organic click trends and the number of pages generating traffic rather than positions for a hand-picked keyword list.
