Does email marketing work in Uzbekistan
Email is not dead in Uzbekistan, but it occupies a narrow niche. Copying Western newsletter playbooks here wastes time.
Where it works
B2B still runs on email: proposals, invoices, documents, follow-ups after meetings. It reads as a work tool rather than marketing.
In consumer markets much of the audience barely opens email while checking Telegram several times a day, and the same message in a channel outperforms a newsletter comfortably.
Telegram as the primary channel
Collect a channel subscription or a bot conversation instead of an address. Open rates and response speed are not comparable, and the tooling is free.
Bots suit transactional messages — order confirmation, delivery status, appointment reminders — while the channel works as a publication.
List building and what gets read
Only with explicit consent and a clear promise of content and frequency; scraped lists produce spam complaints that stop your mail reaching even willing readers.
Short messages with one topic and one action work best, especially when triggered by something the person did rather than sent as a periodic reminder.
