Website development in Tashkent: choosing the right format in 2026

Web development in Tashkent has grown several times over in three years, and so has the number of short-lived studios. Here is how to pick the right format for your business.

Four website formats and when to use them

Landing page — one page for one service or campaign. Use it when running ads and optimising for a single conversion. Timeline 3–5 days.

Corporate website — 5 to 20 pages covering services, about, cases and contacts. Use it when you have several service lines and want organic search traffic.

E-commerce — catalogue, cart, payments, inventory integration. Worth it from roughly 30 SKUs; below that, a catalogue plus messengers is cheaper.

Realistic development timelines

Honest timelines in Tashkent: landing 3–5 working days, corporate site 7–15 working days, e-commerce from three weeks. A corporate site promised in two days is a template with a swapped logo.

Delays almost always come from the client side: copy, photography, approvals. Preparing content upfront cuts the timeline by roughly a third.

What the studio should deliver

The honest minimum: structure planning, unique design, responsive markup, basic SEO (meta tags, H1-H3, alt text, sitemap.xml, robots.txt), .uz domain setup and hosting deployment.

Confirm separately whether you receive access to the domain, hosting and admin panel. If the contractor keeps the domain, you do not own your website.

Bilingual support is mandatory

Search in Uzbekistan happens in Russian and Uzbek simultaneously. A Russian-only site loses a large share of the audience, especially outside Tashkent.

Technically this means separate URLs per language and correct hreflang. Widget-based auto-translation is not indexed and brings no SEO traffic.
