Lead magnets: what to offer in exchange for a contact
'Leave a request' only works on people who have already decided. Everyone else needs a reason to share a contact before they are ready to buy.
What counts as a lead magnet
Something valuable delivered immediately and free in exchange for a contact, with the value obvious within five seconds.
It must relate to your service. A phone giveaway collects a thousand contacts of people who want nothing you sell — ballast that is expensive to process.
What actually works
A price estimate for a specific job is the strongest format, because everyone wants pricing and almost everyone hides it — and it reveals the enquirer's budget.
Then a self-check list, a worked case with numbers, or a short free consultation. Long PDF guides have stopped working: nobody reads thirty pages and everyone expects a message flood afterwards.
The exchange and the follow-up
Ask for a name and one contact, and state what happens next: 'we will send the estimate to Telegram within an hour'. Offer Telegram explicitly — many will share a username but not a phone number.
Then keep the promise on time, unconditionally, and do not pivot straight to selling. Ask whether it helped and offer help with a specific question instead.
