Website builder or custom development
A builder is not a cheap website. It is a different product with different economics: cheaper to start, costlier over time, with a hard ceiling.
What builders do well
Testing demand. A new service line, an unknown market, a page needed within a week — a builder is ideal and disposable if the hypothesis fails.
Same for events, promotions and short-lived landing pages where custom work makes no economic sense.
Where the ceiling starts
Speed and SEO: builder pages carry extra code that shows on mobile connections, and you do not control the markup.
Custom logic too — pricing calculators, 1C integration, stock sync, customer accounts, proper bilingual structure — is either impossible or held together with workarounds.
Local factors and cost of ownership
Payme and Click integration is often unavailable or only through third-party middlemen, which is decisive for a shop. Bilingual Russian and Uzbek versions tend to drift apart as two separate copies.
Subscriptions accumulate over three or four years and leave you no asset. Custom starts at 3,499,000 UZS for either a landing page or a Standard site, then costs only hosting and support.
