Website launch checklist: what to verify before going live
You launch once, but unchecked details linger for months. Working through this list takes an hour and pays back many times over.
Content and technical setup
Check spelling in every language version, current prices, no placeholder text, real photos and correct contact details. Verify the Uzbek version specifically — it is often left partly in Russian.
Confirm the development-time indexing block is removed, HTTPS redirects work, and robots.txt, sitemap.xml, canonicals and hreflang are configured.
Forms, analytics and speed
Submit every form yourself and confirm the email arrived, the Telegram notification fired, the lead reached CRM and the visitor saw a clear confirmation.
Check analytics is installed with goals for form submissions, measure mobile speed, compress images and test the layout on real phones.
Security, legal and handover
Change default passwords, enable automated backups and monitoring, publish privacy policy and terms, and check how the link previews when shared in Telegram.
Most importantly at handover: make sure domain, hosting, admin, analytics and repository access are registered to you. A site only your developer can access is not your asset.
