A chatbot for an online store: why it matters and what it does
The website closes the first purchase; the bot handles everything after — questions, order status, reminders and repeat sales.
Where a bot fits next to a website
A bot does not have to replace an online store entirely. More often it runs as a parallel channel: part of the audience buys on the site, part buys directly in Telegram, skipping the extra step to a browser.
For mobile customers already messaging you on Telegram, it is natural to close the sale in the same conversation rather than redirect to a website.
Key functions
A catalogue with category and price filters, order status by phone number without a call, notifications on status changes.
Abandoned carts: if someone adds an item and leaves, the bot sends a gentle reminder hours later without pressure — often enough to recover the order.
Repeat sales
The bot's subscriber base is a ready channel for repeat offers — a new collection, a birthday discount, restocked items. It costs less than advertising and converts better because the audience has already bought.
Do not turn it into spam: keep broadcasts rare and relevant, or people block the bot and lose the whole channel with it.
What it costs
A catalogue bot with basic functions: 5M–9M UZS. With payments, stock sync and abandoned-cart recovery: 10M–12M UZS.
If you already run an online store, connecting the bot to its database is usually cheaper than maintaining a separate catalogue.
